This weekend my family and I went to Santa Cruz to visit some of my cousin because it was his birthday.

We left on saturday at five in the morning so that we could go walk on the beach a little but Byron didn't seem to care about the scenery or the fact that we were on able to see the sea lions. We went on the beach but he was complaining that it smelled like rotten fish and the sand was getting in his shoe. After a few minutes he decided take of his shoes and go step in the water. He was okay with getting a little wet but he wasn't prepaired to be pushed onto his face by a couple of waves. The first wave just knocked him onto his knees but he wasn't paying attention to the water behind him and another wave knocked face first into the sand.
He was really upset because he was wearing his favorite shirt which was now covered in sand and he was cold the whole time we drove back to the hotel so he could take a shower and change. When he finished chaining we went to my cousins house for my cousin's birthday. It was strange seeing Byron without anyone's phone in his hand. He actually talking and playing with the other little kids but the best part would have to be when Byron got on the mechanical bull and started laughing when he fell off. It appears that Byron does know how to have fun without a cellphone or a game console.
So your brother is into phones and games, well I'm glad you got to see him explore its better for him to be away from that stuff. Do you ever wonder how he thinks? Or what he's thinking?
ReplyDeleteNice post. I sort of feel sorry that your brother got knocked down from the waves. I'm not surprised that your brother is always wanting to be near technology, but I am surprised that your brother had an amazing time without it. The new generations would prefer a tablet game than a board game, so I'm happy to see your brother enjoying himself without a cellphone in his hand. I can't wait to read more from you.
