Byron's behavior

This has been a pretty normal week for Byron. He has woken up for school on time and has started eating again. He has started cleaning when he is told and has also done his homework before my parents get home. I am not sure if he still feels guilty about what he did last week or if it is something else because his behavior has drastically changed.

The whole week he was still showing a little resemblance to his old behavior, but on Thursday night he shocked the whole family when he said he wanted to go to school the next day dressed really nice. I was curious as to why he was concerned with his appearance. He usually doesn't care what he wears to school, but when  I asked about it he answered "my friend said to come to school dressed nice". I immediately assumed it was about a girl in his class he was trying to impress.

The next day when I went to pick him up after school he was wearing a navy blue cardigan, gray dress shirt, black slacks and black dress shoes. I was really impressed when he told me he had picked out his own clothes. I thought he was going to forget or just wouldn't do it. When we got home he told about how all the other kids were dressed and why they were all dressed up. Turns out one of his friends was moving and that was his last day.

Byron's horrible week

This has been a misfortunate week for Byron.  On monday he woke up late and was late for school. On tuesday when we didn't have school, he was having a good day up until my mom reminded him that he had a dentist appointment. He thought they were going to clean his teeth but the dentist ended up fixing a cavity he had. As soon as we left, Byron started complaining because he wanted to get some chinese food. He got upset because the dentist had told him he couldn't eat anything but soup for the rest of the day.

On wednesday Byron made a big mistake. He is really into playing games on my mom's phone. Among all of his games, his favorite one is clash of clans. He tries to make his village as good as he can. He upgrades all of his things and saves his gold and other resources to get better. As some of you may know you can use gems to buy more things. Well, Byron told me he had used a hack to get more gems, but when I told him to show me what he had done, he clicked on something that sent him to the App Store to buy more gems. Turns out he bought two hundred dollars worth of gems. I told him that he had paid for them but he kept on insisting that he had used a hack.

On thursday my mom got a notification on her phone from wells fargonsaying someone had wasted two hundred dollars. When my dad found out he grounded Byron for three weeks and told him he couldn't use anyone's phone until the three weeks had passed. Byron been bothering everyone since then, but at least he has started to eat again. He has also stopped having the same nightmare over and over, so it appears Byron is returning to his old self.
